The annual Little Creek Golf Day will take place in Heidelberg on 2 APRIL 2011. You may or may not remember that the funds raised on this day contribute towards the upgrading of the Golf Course. Thanks to your loyal support we have made numerous improvements to all our greens and tee boxes. Now every golfer can enjoy the pleasure of playing on our superb course.
We still have the floating trophy, appropriately called, “The Little Creek” Trophy. Each member of the winning team, however, will once again receive a smaller version which is theirs to keep forever. The longest driver of the day and the two nearest the pins on the day will also each receive a trophy.
The golf day falls just short of the HEIDELBERG GOLF CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP and what better way to prepare than to take part in Little Creek. We estimate a turnout of 80 plus golfers. There will also be a spectrum of fun for the whole family from jumping castles to putting competitions.
As part of this fun (but serious golf) day we have made tees and greens available for advertising. Should you decide on “buying” a green or a tee the cost will be R1 000-00 each or R1 500-00 for a complete hole. Sponsors are further invited (or is it begged?) to contribute to the colourful day at Heidelberg Golf Club by displaying their products and putting their signboards, flags or bunting up to advertise their organization. What a great opportunity for you, the Sponsor, to invite the Heidelberg community to support your business and a positive way to show your involvement in the community too.
